Healthy male aging can be impacted by dozens of factors. One of the most common stories I hear in my practice is as follows: Overworked / overstressed for years --> Weight-gain /difficulty losing weight --> Drop in libido --> Stress continues --> cycle perpetuates. I approach these patients with a comprehensive approach of supporting stress hormones, testosterone support (when medically applicable), and boosting metabolism and mood. The research is very clear that men with testosterone deficiency have higher rates of depression, anxiety, and heart disease.  Testosterone deficiency can be induced by high stress and poor lifestyle choices. Approaching the root cause and supporting hormonal systems to work back to balance is my goal for working with my patients.
